Cradle Crops is involved in Miscanthus since 2009 when Filip Baecke took the initiative to grow Miscanthus Giganteus in Zeeland (The Netherlands). Seeing the growth of the crop and the potential of the multiple purposes the crop serves Filip decided to expand the activities. Therefore the initiative was taken to share the knowledge and experiences with interested parties by means of the services provided by Cradle Crops. Since 2011 Floris van Tilburg is also involved in Cradle Crops in order to achieve this goal.

Convinced that Miscanthus is the crop of the future planting machines have been developed to be able to plant the crop for other farmers. Furthermore, we are constantly looking for end-uses for Miscanthus and other crops that offer opportunities within the Biobased Economy.

Are you interested in the crop and do you want to exchange thoughts? Or do you see possibilities with this crop or other Biobased crops? Please visit one of our offices in Noordwijk or Westdorpe or contact us.
